The country is facing a general impact from the Westerly wind at present. The Meteorological Forecasting Division has informed that the weather is partly to generally cloudy in the hilly region of Far-west, Karnali, and Gandaki provinces, whereas partly cloudy in the rest of the places due to the influence of this system.
There is the possibility of light rain in a few parts of the hilly region of Province 1, Bagmati and Gandaki province, light snowfall at some parts of the high hilly and mountainous region of these states.
It will be partly to generally cloudy in the hilly area and partly cloudy to generally fair in the rest of the regions of Province 1 and Gandaki Province tonight.
Kathmandu valley experienced somewhat warmth due to warm sunshine since the morning. The Division added, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu valley was recorded at 6.2 degrees Celsius and the maximum 18.2 degrees Celsius in the past 24 hours.
