Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has determined the exchange rates for foreign currencies for today.
According to the rates set by the NRB, the value of the US Dollar and the European Euro remains stable. However, the value of other currencies, such as the Singapore Dollar, Japanese Yen, Thai Baht, South Korean Won, Swedish Krona, Kuwaiti Dinar, and Bahraini Dinar, has increased. Meanwhile, the value of the UK Pound Sterling, Swiss Franc, Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, and Qatari Riyal has decreased.
As per the exchange rates,
• US Dollar: Buying rate at NPR 137.06 and selling rate at NPR 137.66.
• Euro: Buying rate at NPR 141.18 and selling rate at NPR 141.80.
• UK Pound Sterling: Buying rate at NPR 168.39 and selling rate at NPR 169.12.
• Swiss Franc: Buying rate at NPR 150.22 and selling rate at NPR 150.88.
• Australian Dollar: Buying rate at NPR 84.93 and selling rate at NPR 85.30.
• Canadian Dollar: Buying rate at NPR 95.24 and selling rate at NPR 95.66.
• Singapore Dollar: Buying rate at NPR 100.13 and selling rate at NPR 100.57.
For other currencies:
• Japanese Yen (10 units): Buying rate at NPR 8.68 and selling rate at NPR 8.72.
• Chinese Yuan: Buying rate at NPR 18.69 and selling rate at NPR 18.77.
• Saudi Arabian Riyal: Buying rate at NPR 36.51 and selling rate at NPR 36.67.
• Qatari Riyal: Buying rate at NPR 37.59 and selling rate at NPR 37.76.
• Thai Baht: Buying rate at NPR 3.96 and selling rate at NPR 3.98.
• UAE Dirham: Buying rate at NPR 37.32 and selling rate at NPR 37.48.
• Malaysian Ringgit: Buying rate at NPR 30.44 and selling rate at NPR 30.57.
• South Korean Won (100 units): Buying rate at NPR 9.38 and selling rate at NPR 9.42.
• Swedish Krona: Buying rate at NPR 12.29 and selling rate at NPR 12.34.
• Danish Krona: Buying rate at NPR 18.92 and selling rate at NPR 19.00.
For Gulf currencies:
• Hong Kong Dollar: Buying rate at NPR 17.62 and selling rate at NPR 17.69.
• Kuwaiti Dinar: Buying rate at NPR 444.43 and selling rate at NPR 446.38.
• Bahraini Dinar: Buying rate at NPR 363.56 and selling rate at NPR 365.16.
• Omani Riyal: Buying rate at NPR 356.02 and selling rate at NPR 357.58.
The exchange rate for 100 Indian Rupees is set at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
NRB stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. The exchange rates set by commercial banks may differ, and updated rates can be found on the central bank’s official website.
