The fifth edition of the Tiger Cup Volleyball Tournament, organized by Tiger Group of Pokhara Nepal, will be held from the second week of Magh. The competition will take place from Magh 12 to 19. A total of 12 teams, including both men’s and women’s teams, will participate in the tournament, as announced at a press conference by Narayan Prasad Sharma, the chairman of the organizing committee.

According to Sharma, one foreign team will compete in both the men’s and women’s categories. In the men’s category, teams from Tiptop Help Nepal Sports Club, Gandaki Province Volleyball Association, Tribhuvan Army Club, Nepal Police Club, and Nepal APF Club will participate. The foreign team in the men’s category is Sunil Volleyball Club Amin from Kurukshetra, India.

In the women’s category, teams from Nepal APF Club, Tiptop New Diamond Youth Sports Club, Tribhuvan Army Club, and Tiger Group of Pokhara will compete. The foreign team in the women’s category is Travel Inquiry United Passion Volleyball Club from Thailand.

The winners of both the men’s and women’s categories will receive NPR 585,555, while the runners-up will get NPR 285,555. The third-place teams will be awarded NPR 185,555. Additionally, the best male and female players will receive NPR 25,777 each, and the best server, setter, blocker, libero, spiker, and coach (both male and female) will each receive NPR 10,555.

The tournament will be held in Pokhara.
