Following the implementation of the federal democratic republic, considerable advancements have reportedly been made in all fields, including education and health, according to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, aka “Prachanda.”

Speaking at the installation and swearing-in ceremony for the newly elected executive committee of the All Nepal Federation of Trade Unions today, he asserted that republics are qualitatively more progressive than autocracies and monarchies in all spheres.

He claimed that the policies and programs the government presented to the parliament on Friday gave priority to labors and the grassroots.

“Production difficulties and the creation of employment opportunities have received considerable priority.

Issues that remain will be further addressed in the budget for the upcoming fiscal year, 2023–2024.

The incumbent government is committed to increasing production and creating job opportunities.”

He claimed that the “settings” in the stock market were being broken and that the government had taken steps on all matters relating to good governance. “We’ve made’serious’ efforts to boost remittances.

The social security fund has provided coverage for migrant employees from Nepal.

According to him, the government has started a new initiative to promote good governance.

“Do not doubt. The government and party is committed to maintaining good governance. This will be taken to a logical conclusion,” said PM Dahal, also Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre). He claimed that ongoing discussions between top political figures had been held in preparation for a scenario in which all major political parties, which had joined forces in political movements such as the 12-point agreement, the comprehensive peace agreement, the Constituent Assembly, and the declaration of the federal democratic republic, would have to cooperate to preserve the progress the nation had made up to that point.

“Now, we have come up with a common view on the issue of Bhutanese refugees. Guilty should not escape, and innocent should not be booked.

Police investigations should not be influenced under any pressure. We have focused on these things inside or outside a room. Do not doubt,” PM Dahal said referring to frequent meetings between top political leaders recently.
