The Patan High Court has ordered the release of Sandeep Lamichhane, former captain of the Nepali national cricket team, on bail.
A joint bench of Justice Dhruvraj Nand and Ramesh Dhakal ordered Lamichhane to be released on a bail amount of Rs 2 million.
He filed a petition in the Patan High Court against the order given by the District Court of Kathmandu to keep Lamichhane in custody and take ahead with the proceedings on the charge of raping a minor.
