Real estate transactions are rebounding, with NPR 4.25 billion in revenue collected nationwide in Poush, up from NPR 3.87 billion in Mangsir, according to the Land Management and Records Department.
Lalitpur’s Lagan Khel office led collections with NPR 409.4 million, signaling a surge in property deals in the area. Bhaktapur and Dillibazar offices followed with NPR 297.6 million and NPR 219.1 million, respectively.
Revenue sources include service taxes (NPR 304.3 million), registration fees (NPR 2.68 billion), and capital gains taxes (NPR 1.6 billion).
The sector saw its lowest revenue of NPR 2.7 billion in Kartik, but the upward trend suggests recovery.
