Ranvijay Singha, who was an indispensable part of the reality TV show MTV Roadies for the past 18 years, recently made public that he is quiting the show.
In a recent interview with a local print media, he said MTV chanel has been a strong pillar of his journey and that he will be doing other interesting work with them. On this season of the Roadies, things could not work out from both ends. He further said their dates were not matching and it was disheartening
Ranvijay had won the first Season of ‘Roadies’ and he hosted the following seasons of the show afterwards and successfully tutored other contestants.
Rumours have been doing rounds that his exit comes after the takeover of the show by a new production house. Nonetheless, Singha denied there were any issues with the production house saying he was associated with the show for a span of eighteen years and that he had done other shows of the network as well.
Many fans of Ranvijay have expressed their sorrow on social media about the news. Some of them even pleaded him to reconsider his decisions.
As per the reports, Sonu Sood is to be the new host of the talked about show. The upcoming season of Roadies will hit the floors starting February 14.
On the other hand, Rannvijjay Singha is hosting the Indian business reality television series, ‘Shark Tank India’ at present. Besides MTV Roadies, he has also been a pivotal part of several other TV shows including ‘MTV Force India’, ‘The Fast and The Gorgeous’, ‘MTV Splitsvilla’ , ‘Box Cricket League 1’ , ‘Box Cricket League 2’, among others.
