On the occasion of Rato Matsyendranath Festival, the government has declared tomorrow, Thursday, a public holiday in the Kathmandu Valley.
The public will be able to view Rato Matsyendranath’s bhoto (a traditional vest-like outfit) on Thursday.
The public holiday has been issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs for three districts: Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur.
Today, the Ministry issued a public notice informing the public of this. Each year, the iconic vest will be on display at the festival at Jawalakhel, Lalitpur.
