Police have prepared to present the ‘investigation report’ of the refugee case on Monday.
Along with this, the police have prepared to submit the investigation report to the District Attorney’s office on the 58th day of the investigation period.
Attorney Mahesh Prasad Khatri of the District Public Prosecutor’s Office informed that after receiving a message from the police that the investigation report, which was supposed to be submitted by Sunday afternoon, is yet to be prepared.

With the extension of time, the police have got 60 days for investigation.
On the other hand, with the delay in the report, the Public Prosecutor’s Office has formed a special committee and has started preparing to work around the clock.
Due to the pressure of time and the seriousness of the case, preparations have been made to work twenty-four hours after the report is received.
After the expiry of the deadline given earlier by the court, it was again presented to the court on Sunday.
16 people including former ministers Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, Balkrishna Khand are in police custody.
The police is preparing to submit a report with the conclusion that more than 30 people should be prosecuted, including Pratik Thapa, the son of then Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’, who is on the absconding list of the police.
Similarly, while the police are preparing to submit the investigation report to the public prosecutor’s office in the refugee case, five more victims have lodged a complaint at the district police complex in Kathmandu.
This week only, the victims of Dolakha and Ramechhap have filed five complaints against former Speaker Angtawa Sherpa, the police said.
