Pasang Dawa scales Everest for 27th time

Pasang Dawa Sherpa achieved an unprecedented 27th ascent of Mount Everest. Pasang Dawa, who climbed Everest 26 times on May 14, broke a new record today by ascending Everest 27 times.

According to the organizer of the mountain climbing expedition- Imagine Nepal Treks and Expeditions Pvt. Ltd., Pasang Dawa reached the summit with China Group for the 27th time today.

Lin Zhiyong, a Chinese climber, and Pasang Dawa Sherpa reached the summit at 8:25 a.m. today. On May 14, Pasang Dawa Sherpa and Marton Peter Price (Hungary) of Imagine Nepal summited Everest. This is an outstanding accomplishment that demonstrates his incredible skill and determination.

Pangboche is the birthplace of Pasang Dawa Sherpa.

In 1998, 1999, 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2006, he scaled Everest. Similarly, he ascended Mt. Everest in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011 and summited again in the same year in 2007, 2012, and 2022.

Today, Chinese climbers Wang Shanqjng and Ru Zhigang reached the summit at 8 a.m., supported by Thundu and Pasang Namgya, respectively.

Kami Rita Sherpa set a new world record this spring by ascending Mount Everest 27 times. Kami Rita Sherpa will summit Mt. Everest for the 28th time tomorrow.
