The Nepali national cricket team, which participated in the World Cup cricket qualifiers in Zimbabwe, returned home on Friday.
Nepal, which failed to reach the Super Six of the World Cup cricket, returned to Nepal after finishing eighth in the 10-team tournament. Officials of Cricket Association of Nepal CAN and cricket supporters welcomed the team at the airport.
Speaking to the reporters at the airport after returning home, Rohit Kumar Paudel, the captain of the Nepali cricket team, said that even though the results did not come as expected in the World Cup qualifiers, he learned a lot.
