Nepal wins T20 women’s series against Malaysia

Nepal has clinched the title of the five-match T20 women’s series between Nepal and Malaysia.

Nepal defeated Malaysia by three wickets in the game played today at the YSD UKM Cricket Oval.
This victory gave Nepal a 3-2 series victory.

The victorious nation needed 19.2 overs to reach Malaysia’s 110-run mark while losing seven wickets.

Sita Ranamagar scored the most runs for the winning team, scoring 34 off of 37 balls and hitting six boundaries.

Likewise, Captain Rubina Chhetri scored 23 out of 30 total points, including three fours. With 15 points, Apsari Begam remained unblemished, and Jyoti Pandey added 11.

Ainna Hamizah Hashim claimed two wickets for Malaysia.
After losing the toss and being asked to bat first, Malaysia made 109 runs in the allotted 20 overs while losing five wickets.

Wan Julia led the team with 47 runs off 60 balls. Similar contributions came from Winifred Duraisingam (24 off 25) and Mahirah Izzati Ismail (20 off 31).

Ishwori Bista and Kabita Joshi of Nepal each claimed one wicket while bowling.
