The Nepal-US International Film Festival will exhibit a total of 37 movies, including feature films, documentaries, short films, and cartoons from eleven nations, including Nepal.
The short films “Lori” by Avinash Vikram Shah from Nepal, “Aina Jhyalko Putali” by Sujit Bidari from Nepal, “Joyland” by Sayeem Sadiq from Pakistan, and “Four Nights” by Deepak Rauniar will be screened at the festival, according to Yubakar Rajakarnikar, the festival’s director.
The festival will take place from July 22 to July 25.
The AFI Silver Theater in Maryland will host both the festival’s opening and closing ceremonies. whereas the movies will be shown at the AFI and the Old Greenbelt Theater in the USA.
The festival, which is run by the Nepal-American Film Society, will feature discussions on a variety of film, cultural, and cutting-edge technology topics.
Since 2017, the festival has been organized annually by the Maryland-based Nepal-America Film Society.
