Rubeena Chettri’s 38 runs and Captain Indu Barma’s 27 runs contributed to Nepal’s total of 113 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs.
Japan, opting to bowl first, faced strong resistance from Nepal’s bowlers, with Asmina Karmacharya taking 4 wickets for 10 runs in 4 overs.
Despite this win, Nepal is out of contention for the series title after losses to Tanzania and Hong Kong.
The Women’s T20 Quadrangular Series features teams from Nepal, Tanzania, Hong Kong, and Japan, with Tanzania leading the ICC rankings at 19th position. Nepal is in the 21st position, Hong Kong in 22nd, and Japan in 51st.
