Bhojpur, Jan 15: The enchanting Mundum trekking route is in the spotlight as the Cultural, Tourism, and Agriculture Fair begins, aiming to showcase one of Nepal’s most remarkable destinations. Recognized among the 100 must-visit destinations by the government, the Mundum trekking route is now ready to attract adventurers and culture enthusiasts alike.
The fair, organized with an eye on the upcoming Visit Nepal Year 2025, will run until January 18. The event was inaugurated on Tuesday by Minister for Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey, who emphasized Nepal’s potential as an open cultural museum, blending its rich language, traditions, and heritage. The Minister also highlighted the potential for tourism to create thousands of self-employment opportunities.
Held at Chakhewa Bhanjyang, a scenic tourist spot in Temkemaiung Rural Municipality-4, the festival features local delicacies and unique handwoven rugs, offering a glimpse into the region’s rich cultural tapestry.
