Low-pressure system from west brings rainfall

Due to the impact of a westerly low-pressure system in the country, several mountainous places in provinces such as Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim are experiencing modest rainfall at the time.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, high hills and mountainous areas are often cloudy, and the Terai area is partly cloudy.

Rainfall has occurred in Taplejung, Okhaldhunga, and Pokhara, among other places. Today, Pokhara was hit by a hailstorm.

The sky in Kathmandu Valley is completely gloomy, with thunderstorms raging, causing a dramatic rise in temperature. The Division has issued a warning for the next 24 hours and has asked everyone to stay away from the chill, particularly in the mornings and evenings.

Rainfall, thunderstorms, and lightning are all possible in some of the hilly terrain. Tonight will be completely cloudy in the upper hills and hilly terrain. The rest of the country will enjoy partly overcast skies.

On Monday, the Division predicted light to entirely cloudy weather in hilly areas. The remaining areas will be partly cloudy, with some high-altitude areas experiencing light showers and thunderstorms.
