The District Administration Office, Kavrepalanchok, will provide services at the local level on a rotation basis from tomorrow i.e. Sunday. Due to the high risk of Covid-19 infection, the service was suspended for the last two weeks. The DAO has stated that the service will come into operation on a rotation basis from Sunday i.e. February 6.
As per the notice issued by the Assistant Chief District Officer Amardeep Sunuwar, it has been urged to take the service at the local level by abiding by the standards of health and safety. As some employees had contracted the corona infection in the office, the non-essential service was suspended since 9 January.
Before this, the DAO had altered the service schedule from the 2nd week of December and made a request to take the service by adopting health standards keeping in mind the risk of the new variant of COVID-19.
Locals of both Dhulikhel Municipality and Roshi Municipality will start getting the service on Sunday, Banepa Municipality and Chaurideurali Municipality on Monday, and Panauti Municipality and Bethanchowk Municipality on Tuesday. Likewise, citizens of Panchkhal Nagar and Temal Rural municipality will be provided the service on Wednesday, Mandandeupur Nagar and Bhumlu Rural Municipality on Thursday and Namobuddha Nagar and Khanikhola Rural Municipality on Friday.
It is learnt the service will be provided by the Area Administration Office for the Mahabharat rural municipality. Vaccination card has been made compulsory for the service recipients.
