The writing of Madhes’ history has been declared by the Madhes Pragya Pratishthan.

The job of writing the history has begun, according to Academy President Ram Bharos Kapadi ‘Bhramar’, who made the announcement at the conclusion of a two-day international symposium on the history of the Madhes that took place in Bardibas on Saturday.

Within the next three years, this project will take physical form, according to Kapadi.

A decision was made to chronicle the history of the entire Tarai region at the symposium, which was attended by experts, researchers, and explorers of many languages from the Tarai belt of the nation.

In the course of writing, it will be explored how the ancient regions of Kochila, Mithila, Bhojpura, Magadha, Awadh, and Tharuhat developed their languages, cultures, traditions, and diverse castes.
