Help Nepal and Everest Volleyball Club Butwal have emerged victorious in the men’s and women’s divisions, respectively, at the RBB 8th NVA Volleyball Championship.
Help Nepal secured the men’s title by defeating Tribhuvan Army Club in a thrilling final match, triumphing in three sets. In a closely contested battle, Help Nepal outplayed Army with a final score of 22-20, clinching the championship title.
On the women’s side, Everest Volleyball Club Butwal showcased their prowess by clinching victory against Nepal Police Club in a gripping showdown. Despite an initial setback with Police taking the lead in the first set, Everest staged a remarkable comeback, winning three consecutive sets with scores of 25-22, 25-18, and 25-19, respectively.
Notably, Everest Club, bolstered by the contributions of three Indian players, demonstrated exceptional teamwork and resilience throughout the tournament, ultimately securing the coveted women’s championship title.
As per the tournament regulations, the winners of both divisions will be awarded a cash prize of 500,000 Rs each, while the first runners-up will receive 250,000 Rs and the second runners-up will be granted 125,000 Rs.
The RBB 8th NVA Volleyball Championship witnessed spirited competition among some of the finest volleyball teams in Nepal, culminating in an electrifying finale that showcased the talent and determination of the participating athletes.
