At least 15 people have died in three days due to heavy rains in north India, including Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

The Himalayan state experienced landslides and flash floods, damaging houses and paralyzing life.

In Delhi, schools were shut, and residents were left stranded due to overflowed drains and submerged roads.

A woman was crushed to death after her house collapsed.

The India Meteorological Department warns of more heavy rains in the northern regions.

The intensity of the rains has increased in recent times, with climate change making extreme rainfall more likely.

Uttarakhand, a tourist state in the Himalayas, experienced landslides and is expected to receive more in the coming days.

In Himachal Pradesh, at least 14 landslides and 13 flash floods occurred, resulting in at least five deaths and over 700 damaged roads shut for repairs.

Authorities have closed schools and colleges for the next two days.
