World-famous US information system company Google is to provide early-warning system on earthquake to various countries. Few days ago, the company has informed of undergoing the required preparations to operate the system.
Google officials have informed that the system can detect earthquakes ahead in our android mobile phones through the wireless system. They have also expressed belief that the system can be effective and of demand worldwide.
They have said that the pre-information system, following its use, can remarkably reduce the number of tens of thousands of people losing lives due to earthquakes every year. The system has been set so as to choose the place we want to get the earthquake information and that we can only get the information of the chosen place. The system can also be turned off whenever wanted.
Initially, the system will only be provided to specific countries including the US, Greece, the New Zealand among others. However, Google will gradually expand the system operation across other countries as well.
