This morning at Ghimiregaun in Khandbari Municipality-1, Sankhuwasabha, a 21-year-old girl was murdered.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Birendra Godar, Nandaram Gadal, 23, of Sabhapokhari Rural Municipality, murdered Yuna Darnal, a resident of Sabhapokhari Rural Municipality-1 who is currently residing at the district headquarters. In Khandbari, Yuna was residing in a leased room.
After killing the girl, according to the police, Gadal made an attempt on his own life.
Gadal, who is seriously hurt, is being treated at the Khandbari District Hospital. Gadal reportedly arrived in Khandbari on Thursday after finishing a three-month Nepal Police training program.
Gadal and the deceased Darnal shared a room yesterday night, according to the police. Police stated that they have not yet determined the motives in the murder case.
