Nepal Oli Corporation NOC has once again decided to implement automatic price adjustment system in the price of petroleum products.
The board of directors of the corporation today decided to implement the system effective from the first day of the new fiscal year.
The price has been set giving 2% profit in diesel, and 2.5% in petrol.
However the corporation will not take any profit in LP Gas.
With the implementation of the automatic price adjustment system from Sunday midnight, the price of petrol, diesel, kerosene and LP Gas will decrease.
Petrol will be cheaper by 6 Rs per liter, diesel and kerosene cheaper by 4 Rs per liter and 10 Rs per cylinder of LP gas.
The price of one liter of petrol in Kathmandu will be 164 Rs while on Tarai districts it will be sold at 161 Rs 50 paise per liter.
Likewise, a liter of diesel and kerosene will cost 146 Rs per liter while 143 Rs 50 paise in Tarai districts.
A cylinder of LP Gas will now cost 1790 Rs.
The price of aviation fuel will not be decided by the automatic price of adjustment system.
