DPM Shrestha out of danger now

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ informed the Cabinet meeting about the health condition of Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha, who suffered a mild heart attack on Wednesday night. 

DPM Shrestha is currently on an official visit to China, where he is receiving treatment at Peking Union Medical College in Beijing. 

The government spokesperson, Rekha Sharma, confirmed that DPM Shrestha is out of danger and will stay in Beijing for a few days for treatment. 

The Cabinet has also given permission to draft a bill to arrange arrangements for the National Human Rights Commission. 

The meeting also extended best wishes to all Nepalis on the occasion of national festivals.
