A total of 158 fresh cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in the last 24 hours across the nation. It came to attention via RT-PCR tests carried out on 6,504 people in the course of that period, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
With this, the total number of infections stands at 977,076 in Nepal.
During this period, another 354 people have got recovery post the incident. The figure of those who are from infection has reached 957,167. The recovery rate has come up to 97.9 percent, according to the ministry. At present, the number of active cases of COVID-19 is 7,971.
However, two more people have lost their lives due to COVID-19, taking the death toll to 11,938.
Also today, 108,140 people were vaccinated against COVID-19.
