The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that a total of 2,401 people have contracted COVID-19 in the country in the last 24 hours. It revealed that 16,365 antigen and PCR tests were conducted in various laboratories in course of the same period. Likewise, 7,777 people got fully recovered in a day. As of yet, 9285,369 people have got recovery from the flu-like infection. The recovery rate stays at 95.7 per cent, said the Ministry.
Similarly, 14 more people lost their lives due to the deadly infection in the last 24 hours taking the fatality caseload to 11,852 till date. The death rate stands at 1.3 per cent.
At present, there are 30,241 active cases of COVID-19 across the country.
However, 273,349 people were inoculated against COVID-19 today alone, shared the Ministry.
