A total of 1,369 new infections of COVID-19 were recorded within the country in the past 24 hours, informed Ministry of Health and Population. This was revealed within the 11,880 antigen and PCR tests conducted in various laboratories during the identical period, said the Ministry.
Similarly, 2,238 infected enjoyed full recovery. As of yet, 930,607 people have recovered from the flu-like infection. The recovery rate stands at 95.8 per cent, said the Ministry.
Also today, 12 more people died thanks to deadly infection taking the fatality caseload to 11,864 as of now, informed the Ministry. The case mortality rate stands at 1.3 per cent.
Currently, there are 29,004 active cases of COVID-19 within the country.
Meanwhile, 220,601 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 today alone, shared the Ministry.
