The Chitwan National Park (CNP) has saved six tigers from various locations in the current fiscal year.
Ganesh Prasad Tiwari, the National Park’s information officer, reports that three of the rescued tigers were released back into the national park.
He added that the injured and distressed tigers had been saved.
After assessing their situation, the rescued tigers were released in the main part of the national park.
He said that while one of the rescued jungle cats is receiving treatment, the other two were sent to the Banke and Parsa national parks.
The bulk of the tigers that were saved died during therapy.
Likewise, after observing discernible changes in their behavior, wild animals are released in the national park. Four male and two female tigers were among those saved this year, according to CPN authorities. Seven distressed and injured tigers were saved by CNP the previous year. Four of them were released to the forest after exhibiting new behaviors, but two of them passed away while receiving therapy. According to the most recent count, there are 128 tigers at CNP.
