At a US Senate hearing, OpenAI’s CEO Sam Altman answered inquiries concerning artificial intelligence (AI).

The business developed the ChatGPT software, which can write essays, scripts, poems, and debug computer code in a manner akin to a human.

As AI becomes “increasingly powerful,” Altman told the US Senate, his sector needs to be governed by the government.
