Cash relief distributed to families of deceased in Jajarkot earthquake

Cash relief has been distributed to the families of those who died in the Rukum West earthquake, with 2.5 million rupees distributed to the victims of two municipalities. 

The distribution of cash relief in Jajarkot will take time due to the ongoing processes of identification of the legal rightful owners of the deceased, registration of death among others.

A safe center has been established for women and children affected by the earthquake, offering health check-ups, counseling services, toys, entertainment activities, and general reading lessons. 

Temporary services have been provided by constructing tents in the earthquake-affected areas. 

Bhatbhateni Super Market Pvt Ltd has provided food aid to the earthquake survivors, contributing 1,680 sacks of 42 tons of ground cumin rice worth 3.5 million rupees to the district.

The focus is now on other relief distribution, and the distribution of cash relief will take time.
