70% of Nepalis get full dose of vaccine, congratulations from WHO

Kathmandu, February 4: The World Health Organization (WHO) has extended congratulations for completing the full dose of coronavirus vaccine to 70 percent of the age group in Nepal.
The World Health Organization (WHO) Nepal on Thursday congratulated Nepal through its official Twitter handle. WHO Nepal said that on Wednesday alone, 70 percent of citizens over the age of 18 had been fully vaccinated.
“Congratulations to Nepal for successfully vaccinating 70 percent of the population against covid. This is a great success for Nepal and its allies. It has proved that anything is possible if we work together, ”said WHO Nepal.


The Nepal Government is running a nationwide vaccination campaign with the target of vaccinating 100 percent of the citizens above 18 years of age by mid-April.
The Nepalese people have got the jab of Covishield, Verocell and Johnson and Johnson among others.
