On Wednesday night, a windstorm in Pakistan’s east Punjab province claimed the lives of four children and injured three more.
According to the authorities, the children were sitting next to the mosque’s wall in Mianwali District when it collapsed on them on Wednesday night.
One of the hurt children was taken to a local hospital, where she is currently in critical condition.
Pakistan is currently facing a weather pattern due to which wind and thunderstorms coupled with rain are expected to persist in the country till May 18, Pakistan meteorological department said in a statement.
