The third China-U.S.-Canada Buddhist Forum commenced in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, marking China’s inaugural hosting of the event.
With nearly 300 participants, the forum, themed “Tranquil Mind, Auspicious Coexistence,” aims to foster connections among Buddhist communities in China, the United States, and Canada.
Master Yanjue, head of the Buddhist Association of China, emphasized the goal of enhancing international Buddhist exchanges, promoting cooperation, and strengthening friendships between China, the U.S., and Canada.
The forum, known for promoting cross-Pacific Buddhist community exchanges, will continue until November 17, contributing to the mutual understanding of Eastern and Western civilizations and advancing a shared future for humanity.
