The aircraft of Nepal Airlines Corporation, which was sent to pick up Nepali students from Israel, is flying back to Nepal carrying 254 students, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to Nepali time, the aircraft will touch down at Tribhuvan International Airport at around 1:30 AM tonight.
A Nepalese delegation headed by Foreign Minister NP Saud traveled to Israel to launch the required diplomatic efforts to repatriate workers and students who pose a threat to their nation.
Sewa Lamsal, the ministry’s spokeswoman, revealed during a press conference conducted by the ministry of foreign affairs today that Nepali students had traveled to Dubai aboard a Nepal Airlines flight.
The plane that departed from Tel Aviv International Airport at 4:30 pm NST, according to Lamsal, would make a stop in Dubai to refuel before landing at Tribhuvan International Airport tonight.
The government also stated that careful effort is being put into the hunt for missing Nepali student Bipin Joshi in Israel.
According to the ministry, two of the four people injured in the attack will return today and the health of the other two has improved.
The Ministry also informed that the online name registration is open at the embassy for those who want to return to Nepal and the name is being registered.
According to the Ministry, the process of bringing the bodies of those who died in the attack in Israel is continuing, but it will take some time.
