A total of 2,526 fresh cases of coronavirus were recorded within the last 24 hours across the country. Similarly, 16 lost their lives to the contagion within the same period.

Similarly, the districts having over 200 active cases of coronavirus are Siraha, Saptari, Parsa, Bara, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Dhading, Sindhuli, Nuwakot, Gorkha, Syangja, Baglung, Tanahu, Gulmi, Palpa, Bardiya, Dang, Surkhet and Kanchanpur.
